38 Weeks
This week at our doc appt. the baby was a little sideways! He is still head down, but more diagonal. Hopefully he will be fully head down next week! Just a week and a day (August 11) until his due date. We are excited, and as ready as we're gonna be! :)

37 Weeks
This week I am technically "full term". Which I think basically means that if I went into labor they wouldn't try to stop it! :) He is still growing, and moving a lot. This heat is so intense (about 105 every day), and it makes me so thankful that I don't have to work. I'm feeling great, other than bathroom breaks every 10 seconds, and not being able to get comfortable easily at night, but it will all be worth it!
We have our 3rd and final childbirth class this week and last week I took the breastfeeding class the hospital offers. We have most of the nursery furniture, and I'm in the process of washing and organizing his newborn and 0-3 months clothes.

36 Weeks
I can't believe there are just a few weeks left! I've been feeling well, tired, but I get to rest whenever I want! We start going to the doctor weekly now, until the birth. Our childbirth class is going well, it's good to know a little about the hospital and place where we'll deliver.
This picture was taken before my baby shower. Zach's mom's friend hosted a beautiful shower for us! Everyone was so generous as they showered us with love and gifts! The nursery is still a work in progress, but we hope to have it finished by next weekend. Our house is also coming along, most of the boxes are unpacked, but we are still deciding where to hang pictures, etc.

Ultrasound 7-13-12
Like I said before, we talked our midwife into ordering us another ultrasound before the birth! She confirmed he was a boy, and we saw some cute pictures of his nose and other parts!

35 Weeks
35 weeks down, 5 to go! I cannot believe we'll have a baby in a little over a month!! This week he is the weight of a honeydew melon, about 5 1/4 pounds. He still has the hiccups a lot, and is moving frequently. Zach and I can see him moving in my belly!
This week we go to our first childbirth class at the hospital on Fort Riley, where I'll deliver. There are 3 two hour sessions over 3 weeks we will attend. First we'll take the tour of Labor and Delivery, and hopefully during one of the sessions they'll tell us about options for pain (very important)!

The house is coming along. We are selling a lot, bringing tons to Goodwill, and trying to find places for everything. Moving is much harder when you have to take so many breaks so your feet don't swell! This weekend the baby's bed was put up.

34 Weeks
This week our baby is the weight of a cantaloupe! He is getting hiccups very frequently. :) At our last docs appt., she gave me some Zantac for my heartburn. It wasn't unbearable, but it was annoying taking Tums all the time! At that appt. we also talked our doc into ordering us another ultrasound! People are usually only given 2 (one at the beginning and one at 20 weeks), but we want to see him again! We'll have that on the 13th, then we'll start our weekly appts. on the 16th. I can't believe there are only 6 weeks left!
We've gotten all moved in to our house! And by "all moved in" I mean everything is in our house or garage. :) The movers are required to put any furniture together that was taken apart in Germany. So we've got beds and tables and such, plus a TON of boxes to go through. Our house in Germany was about double the size since we had a basement for storage. So we're slowly going through boxes, deciding where to put things and what to give away or put in long term storage.
Last week Zach and his dad did the baby's room! I saw a chair rail in a friends nursery, and that way we could both get the color on the wall we wanted- I wanted green and Zach wanted blue. So Zach painted, and they both put up the chair rail in an afternoon. It looks great and I can't wait to start decorating!
