We have a house!

We closed on our FIRST house on Tuesday, June 26th!  We have been painting and cleaning (by we I mostly mean Zach, and his dad has helped too! :) ).  We have furniture being delivered this Friday, and our house hold goods from Germany will be delivered next Monday.  More pictures to come as we do more!

33 Weeks

This week baby is the weight of a pineapple!  I am feeling good overall, heartburn and a little sleeplessness are the main things but they're not too bad.  I can't wear my ring anymore, it got stuck last week, and I had to use a whole bottle of lotion to get it off!  Baby is very active, lots of moving and hiccups.

We have a doctor's appointment on Monday, and we'll probably go in more often from now on.  Then we have our final walk through of our house before we close on Tuesday!  We have carpet cleaners scheduled, and paint colors picked out.  Then July 2nd the military will deliver our household goods to our new house!

32 Weeks- 8 Months

This week baby was the weight of about 4 oranges.  He is almost the length he will be when he's born, now he'll just fatten up these last few weeks!  

6-16-12

This week was Country Stampede in Manhattan.  It's a huge country music festival out at a lake.  Zach's younger brother, Phil, works for a company who puts up the stages, and he was able to get us back stage passes for the whole weekend!  Luke Bryan, Zac Brown Band, Toby Keith, and The Band Perry were the main acts.  We had fun hanging out with lots of family!  Phil was there, and so were Jamie, Melissa and Miles, Zach's cousins who visited us in Germany in December.  Justin and Casey also flew in for the weekend!

31 Weeks

This week Baby Greenlee and I were showered with love once again!  Sally, Abbey, and Runge hosted a beautiful shower in Kansas City for our friends and the grandmas to attend.  We had a blast catching up, and Baby Greenlee gained some adorable outfits, a bunch of books for his library, and some necessities for when he joins us!

31 Weeks: 6-9-12

Things are moving along!  We close on our house on June 26.   Until then we are still in Topeka at Zach's dad's house.  I've been taking advantage of my pre-maternity leave by watching TLC and HGTV, and laying by the pool as much as possible.  I've missed summer!  After we close, we'll have a few days to paint and get the house ready, and then our household goods from Germany are being delivered on July 2nd.  One great thing about the military- not only do they pack and move your things, but they unpack and put anything back together that was taken apart when they deliver! (beds, bookshelves, etc)  That means we'll (hopefully) have all of July to get the baby's room ready.

30 Weeks at the K

30 weeks down, 10 to go!  This weekend we went to the Royals game with my dad and brother.  It was a beautiful day at the ball park!

This week we celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary on Tuesday.  We went to see "What to Expect When You're Expecting" (cheesy but cute) and had dinner at a Japanese steak house.  I can't wait to see what the next 4 + years will bring!!!!
