The Greenlee Family: Week 8

Colin is 8 weeks old today (Monday, October 1)!

~We went to our first Baby Rhyme Time at the public library. It's a cute 20 minute play time where we sing, do movements and baby signs, and read. Colin cried for about 10 seconds, then slept in my arms for the rest of the time...better luck next week!

~We went to Lawrence to take my mom to a doc. appt. While she was with the doc, Colin and I walked around where we used to live when I was in elementary school.

~I had my postpartum visit. All is well!

~We had Colin's first unscheduled doctor's visit. He was fussy Wednesday night and had a stuffed nose. We tried to bubble sucker (what's it really called?) and of course he hated it. It's so hard to take a baby's temp, so we decided to make an appt. He didn't have a fever, and she gave us some saline drops to use before the sucker. He's feeling better! He weighed 11 lb. 3 oz.

~Thursday was Uncle Justin's birthday. We sent him a message with a pic of Colin! :)

~Our New Parent Support visitor came for the 3rd time on Friday. Colin got his first infant massage! He loved it! Weird, b/c he usually hates being naked. He only got mad when we stopped and started to put his clothes back on.

~Saturday we had a housewarming/meet the baby party at our house. Some friends came to meet our little baby!

~Sunday we went to Lawrence to celebrate Uncle Abel's birthday. Happy Birthday brother!
