Exciting!


Hi everyone!  We are so excited to be starting this new blog.  And we have a very good reason to start it- we are adding to our family!  I am about 9 weeks along with our first baby, and we couldn't be happier.  The due date is August 11th, and we will be back in the U.S. by then, we just don't know where yet.  A list will come out this month, and we'll HOPEFULLY know where we're going in February.  We know it will definitely be in the U.S., but the rest is completely up in the air.


Yesterday we had our first ultrasound.  We were able to see the baby's feet kicking and we also got a good look at the umbilical cord.  Zach saw the fluttering heartbeat!

Ultrasound 1-4-12.  8 weeks 5 days.

    Well here goes Ive never read a blog before much less commented on one. We to are glad to have you back home for totally selfish reasons WE MISS YOU GUYS plus I"ll get to be near my first grandchild!! Who would have thought an old man could be so excited over a baby. Ive heard people swoon over a baby but never really "got it". Well I do now.

    This is just such OVER-THE-MOON EXCITING news! Can't wait to start building blanket forts and singing lullabies to that precious little one. Oh and we can't forget splashing around in the pool! God has blessed us all!!! Love~ Grandma Janice
